Beverly Claire Joyal
Beverly Claire Joyal, 91, of Nashua, wife of Rene R. Joyal, passed away Saturday morning, March 28, 2026 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, after a period of declining health.
Born in Claremont, New Hampshire on June 29, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Adelard and Alice (Fontaine) Favreau. Beverly was educated in Claremont schools and was a graduate of Stevens High School Class of 1952. During her high school years, Beverly played on the Women’s Basketball Team and was a Majorette. She furthered her education at a business college in Boston where she earned an associate’s degree.
Beverly and her husband moved to Nashua shortly after their wedding in 1957 and made their home on Concord Street for over 50 years. In addition to raising her seven children, Beverly was employed with General Floor Service and later in the bakery as a cake decorator at Market Basket for many years.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing and traveling. Beverly especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Members of her family include her husband, Rene, whom she married in Claremont on October 5, 1957 and shared over 68 years together; her seven children and their spouses, Elise and Walter Doolin, Jeffrey Joyal, Adele and Douglas Desrosiers, Daniel and Shelly Joyal, Jason and Ana Joyal, Lauren “Larry” and Nicole Joyal, and Andrew and Wendy Joyal; twelve grandchildren, Tim, Noah, Jillian, Cameron, Ashley, Julissa, Summer, Lily, Trinity, Courtney, Jordan and Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Grayson; also nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Beverly was predeceased by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Helena and Victor Barron and Lorette and Emile Lambert all of Claremont.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Christopher Church, 62 Manchester Street, Nashua, Wednesday, April 15that 10 a.m. Friends are invited to attend.
