Gloria Marie Loud

Gloria Marie Loud, 79, of Nashua, widow of Robert F. Loud, passed away Wednesday morning, March 25, 2026 after a period of declining health.

A resident of Nashua for over 50 years, Gloria was born in Salem, Massachusetts on February 26, 1947, a daughter of the late Joseph Albert and Marie Amelia (Gallant) Jeffery. Gloria grew up in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School Class of 1965. She had been employed by the State of New Hampshire in custodial services in the Nashua Public Schools for many years.

Gloria has made her home at Gatewood Manor in Nashua and enjoyed spending time with her many friends there.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her daughter, April A. Colby; her son, Scott Kenneth Colby; and her sister, Pauline Avery.

Members of her family include her brother, Joseph Albert Jeffery and his wife Sandy of Hollis, NH; her sisters, Lillian Colby and her husband Wilfred of Billerica, MA and Lorraine St. Pierre of Rockport, MA; also nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Graveside Service will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, 101 Kinsley Street, Nashua, Saturday, April 11th at 11:30 a.m. Family and friends are invited to attend.
