Jeannette Pauline Turcotte
Jeannette Pauline Turcotte, 91, died peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Turcotte with whom she shared 43 years of marriage prior to his passing on April 8, 2014.
Jeannette was born in Nashua on December 1, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Maurice and Mary Ann (Dussault) Fournier. She attended Catholic schools in Nashua and was a graduate of St. Louis High School with the class of 1954.
Jeannette began her working life as a nanny, caring for children with the same warmth and devotion that would later define her as a mother. She later took a position at Doelha Greeting Card Company, where fate introduced her to the love of her life, Albert. After starting their family, Jeannette happily devoted herself to raising her children at home. Once they were grown, she returned to the workforce as a dietary aide at the former Greenbriar Nursing Home in Nashua.
Jeannette was active in many organizations throughout her younger years. She was a member of the Wamesit Ski Club, where she was fortunate to meet her lifelong best friend, Francine Howe. She was also part of the Encore Group, a breast cancer survivors’ group where members found comfort, strength, and camaraderie with one another, and she was a proud member of the Emblem Club in Nashua. Jeannette took great pride in maintaining her home, always ensuring everything was beautiful from her perfectly manicured floral gardens and colorful window boxes to the everyday details that made her house so welcoming. Above all else, she cherished time spent with family and friends, never passing up an opportunity to gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories. Jeannette will be remembered for her beautiful soul and for the loving, caring maternal presence she was to her family.
She is survived by her two children, Laurence A. Turcotte of Nashua and Suzanne R. Turcotte and her wife Laura Parker of Stratham, NH; her granddaughter, Olivia Parker; her sister, Florence Novick of Hudson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Sadly, in addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Noella Rainville and Lucille Derderian, and her brother, Maurice Fournier.
