Paula Jane (Gagnon) Palermo

Mar 12, 2026

Paula Jane (Gagnon) Palermo, 73, of Merrimack, NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7th, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, ambition, and an open heart that knew no boundaries.

Paula was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on June 15th, 1952. She was educated in the Nashua school system. Paula later received her Real Estate license and was a top-producing Realtor in New Hampshire. She officially retired in 2017 after a successful final chapter at Hometown America in Vero Beach, FL, but her “work” of connecting with people never truly ended.

Paula was the beloved wife of Sebastian “Sal” Palermo for 38 wonderful years until his passing in 2016. In a beautiful testament to her capacity for love, she found happiness again with Michael Cirrone. Married in 2019, Paula and Mike spent their years together as true partners in adventure, crisscrossing the United States to take in the sights and simply enjoy the gift of each other’s company.

To Paula, family wasn’t defined by lines on a tree, but by the love shared between them. She was an exceptional mother and a doting grandmother who mastered the art of making everyone feel seen and cherished. Whether she was traveling the country or hosting a quiet gathering, her presence was the “glue” for her large, blended family.

She is reunited in peace with her late husband Sebastian Palermo, her parents Paul and Doris (Labbe) Gagnon, her brother Kenneth Gagnon.

Her spirit lives on through her husband Michael Cirrone, siblings, David Gagnon and wife Joanna, Glenn Gagnon and wife Laura, her children, Wendy Leblanc and husband Anthony, Shari Smith and fiancé Sal Briguglio, Michelle Palermo-Lajoie, Sharon Palermo, Christopher Palermo and wife Jennifer, her grandchildren Kerri, Nicholas, Nicole, Nitashia, Stefan, Alexander, Nathan, Emily, Sarah, and Tegan, 9 great-grandchildren, and Michael’s four children, and their families, whom she welcomed warmly into her heart.

Visiting hours will be held Friday March 13th from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Rochette Funeral Home 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her funeral mass will be held March 14th, at 10:00 am at Saint Aloysius of Gonzaga, 48 West Hollis Street, Nashua. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Paula’s honor to the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. Paula spent her final days there surrounded by her loving family and the exceptional staff who became a part of her journey. Contributions may also be made to Compassionate Care ALS to support their vital mission. To leave an online condolence, story, or message please visit www.ANCTIL-ROCHETTE.com
