Dolores “Dolly” Lemay
Dolores “Dolly” Lemay passed away peacefully in Nashua, NH on February 28, 2026. She was born on June 26, 1938 in Manchester, NH to the late Henri and Irene (Lussier) Lemay.
She graduated from St. Anthony High School in 1956 and later attended evening and summer classes at Rivier College (University) in Nashua, NH, while working full-time, graduating in 1985 with a B.S. in Paralegal Studies. She was employed as a legal assistant with several local law firms, the last being Devine Millimet in Manchester from where she retired.
Dolly and her family also resided for a time in Hooksett and Whitefield, NH where she volunteered in both town libraries. After moving to Nashua, she was a long-time volunteer with The American Stage Festival. In retirement Dolly enjoyed the opportunity to continue her joy of learning in the RISE program at Rivier. Dolly was also very fortunate to have traveled throughout the years to many places including Alaska, Africa, Paris, Hawaii, Canada, the Caribbean Islands and several U.S. states. She was a lifelong tennis player and a faithful gym member. She also played golf for several years. In her younger years, she enjoyed ice skating and downhill/cross-country skiing with her family.
She is survived by four children. Daughter, Elise Kendall and husband Mark of Grantham, NH. Son, Richard Duvernay and wife Laura Berger of Ashland, OR. Daughter, Patrice Duvernay, M.D. and husband Greg Gagne of Salt Lake City, UT. Son, Ronald Duvernay of Nashua, NH, who was a frequent travel companion. She is survived by five grandchildren, Matthew and Elizabeth Kendall, Kevin and Kyle Duvernay, and Sasha Gagne. She was predeceased by her grandson, Jay Gagne. Also survived by three great grandchildren, Cooper, Mason and Alana. Surviving siblings are Denise Ankarberg and Norman Lemay. She is also survived by her former husband, Robert Duvernay of Hooksett, NH.
After cremation visitation will be held at Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH 03104 on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 9:30 am.
