Kathleen Ann Vincent
NASHUA- Kathleen Ann Vincent, 79, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. She is the beloved wife of Donald P. Vincent with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.
Kathleen was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 27, 1946, and was the daughter of the late Roy E. Shoemaker and Josephine (Marcic) Shoemaker.
An intellectual at heart, Kathy graduated from Casimir Pulaski High School and went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Connecticut State College, majoring in Education and minoring in psychology. She received her certification to teach from the states of Connecticut and New Hampshire.
As a proud born-again Catholic, Kathy was a long-time pro-life advocate. Steadfast in her beliefs, she enjoyed sharing her faith with others. Prior to her retirement, Kathleen was employed as an elementary school teacher at various schools including, Holy Spirit Academy and Infant Jesus Elementary in Nashua, Salem Christian School and St. Stanislaus Elementary in Manchester, NH.
In her free time, she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 3 as well as the St. Joseph Parish Rosary Alter Society, Ladies’ Guild and various other ministries. She also enjoyed writing educational literature, poetry, and prayers. Kathy loved gardening and singing, but her family was her greatest love, especially her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Donald, she is survived by her three children, Michelle Lovett of North Woodstock, NH, Carmen Gagne and her husband Christopher of Austin, TX, Jessica Smith and her husband Tim of Nashua; her stepdaughter Kelly Herzog and her husband Bill of Manchester, CT; her grandchildren, Zachary Maynard, Joshua Lovett, Cheyenne Regnier, Jesse Regnier, Ember Smith, Torin Smith, and her step-grandchildren Christopher and Shaun Herzog. She is also survived by her brother Michael Shoemaker and his wife Doreen of Eugene, OR as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Kathleen’s visitation on TUESDAY March 10th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held on WEDNESDAY March 11th at 10 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 W. Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment will take place on THURSDAY March 12th at 1 PM at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH. Kindly meet at the cemetery at 12:30 PM.
