Corrine (Pelletier) Wilmot
The Pelletier family is sad to report the loss of our wonderful sister, Corrine. She was born on July 9, 1944. She was married to her husband Harry for 46 years. She was 1 of 14 children and was the 2nd oldest daughter of our family,
When Corrine & Harry were first married, Harry was still in the military at that time and they spent a few years in Germany, where Harry was stationed. Corrine and Harry loved to travel and took many trips across America, through the years.
Corrine and Harry were the most generous people we have ever known, helping many family members through tough times. But their most generous contribution was accepting the role of Co-Guardians for our “Downs” brother James for over 23 years. When our mother could no longer take care of Jimmy, Corrine and Harry, without hesitation, volunteered to take care of Jimmy. They were more than guardians for Jimmy they were his parents for those many years. They took him on trips, took care of all his health and physical needs. The Pelletier Family can never thank them enough for their unselfish decision to take on this responsibility,
Corrine, went to school and received certification to work in Preschools and Kindergartens. For many years worked as an assistant where she excelled in helping and caring for young children. Which was a job that she loved.
Corrine was predeceased by her husband Harry and her Mother Rita (Soucy) Pelletier and her father, Lawrence Pelletier, Siblings: Jacquline Tremblay, Robert Pelletier, Daniel Pelletier.
