Philip J. Parker
Philip J. Parker, 83, of Hudson, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, following a brief illness.
Born in Fort Fairfield, he was the son of the late William L. Parker and Madeline (Higgins) Parker.
Philip was predeceased by his former wife, Sheila Parker; his son-in-law, Christopher Roystan; and his daughter-in-law, Norma Jeanne Parker.
He is survived by his loving family, including; his son, Jefferey Parker of Hudson, NH; his daughters, Wendy Roystan of Hudson, NH, and Sara Ducharme and her husband, Steve Ducharme, of Litchfield, NH and his brother, Eugene Parker of Florida
Philip was a proud and devoted grandfather to Jessica Swindell and her husband, Eric, of Epping; Brandon Perkins of Vermont; Amanda Corson and her partner, Mike Rodrigues, of Hudson, NH; Shana Annesse and her husband, Brian, of Hudson, NH; Emma Ducharme of Litchfield, NH; and Travis Ducharme of Litchfield, NH. He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Ayden, Jaxon, and Blake Swindell of Epping, NH; Rylee Corson of Hudson, NH; and Aurora Annesse of Hudson, NH. Philip was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Philip worked for many years as a dedicated truck driver with Continental Paving. He took great pride in his work and felt especially fortunate to enjoy his retirement years.
He found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. He loved dancing, four-wheeling, camping, and was well known for making his famous French fries during garage parties — moments that brought laughter and lasting memories to all who attended. Philip will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Following cremation, a time of visitation will be held on Monday, March 2nd, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry Street, Hudson. Burial will be private.
