Robert Noel

Robert Noel, 86, formerly of Nashua, NH, and The Villages, FL, and most recently of North Salem, NY, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, after a lengthy illness.

Born and raised in Nashua, Robert graduated from Nashua High School in 1957 and served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He later attended Bentley College and enjoyed a long and successful career at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. In addition to his professional career, he served as a Bail Commissioner in the Nashua District Court system for twenty-eight years, a position he was recognized with dedication and integrity.

Robert was predeceased by his beloved wife, Elaine C. Cassista, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage. He is survived by his children, Janice Noel Dall and her husband, Jamie, of North Fort Myers, FL; Stephen Noel of Gloucester, MA; and Gary Noel and his wife, Emily Spiegelman-Noel, of North Salem, NY; his grandson, Oliver Lee Noel; and his sisters, Conni Bernier and Helen Dumont. He was also predeceased by his parents, Maurice L. Noel and Olivette Turcotte Noel, and his brothers, Maurice A. Noel and Arthur J. Noel.

Robert cherished time spent camping and traveling with his family. After retiring, he moved to The Villages, FL, in 2006. He enjoyed golf, cribbage, poker, pool and candlepin bowling. Robert had the rare gift of making people feel welcome, turning strangers into friends with kindness and good humor.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, May 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Parish, 216 East Dunstable Road, Nashua. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery.
