Richard K. Bigbee
Richard K. Bigbee, 75, of Hampton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1st, following complications from declining health. Rick was born in Lowell MA on Nov. 8, 1950. Son of James R. Bigbee and Beverly M. (England). Rick chose to conclude medical treatment and leave this life on his own terms, just as he lived it. Strong-willed and decisive until the end, His passing left a lasting and powerful impression on all who knew him.
Rick spent his entire career in the crane and aerials industry, serving in sales, management, and as vice president. Known as a tireless advocate for his customers, he traveled extensively and was never hesitant to go the extra mile, often overnight, to resolve issues or build relationships. He took pride in his work and the reputation he earned.
Rick embraced life fully. He loved the outdoors, especially the ocean, fishing, boating, golfing, skiing, and motorcycles. A gifted cook and enthusiastic host, he delighted in sharing good food and good company. Above all, Rick cherished family.
He is survived by his beloved longtime companion, Kathy Kaklamanos, with whom he shared many years of adventures, travel, and meaningful time with friends and loved ones. He is also survived by his daughters Kristina Houde (Ricky) of, NH, and Kathryn Bigbee of HA, his grandchildren Ava and Sophia; his brother Allen Bigbee of, ME; and his sisters Heidi Nippe (Ron) of FL; Suzanne LeBlanc (Mark) of NH; Sharon Even (Hal) of CT; and Lisa Swatko (Mike) of NH, along with many nieces and nephews.
Rick was a devoted member of St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, serving on the Parish Council, and was also a member of AHEPA.
A Wake will be held at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Orthodox Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 West Hollis Street, Nashua, NH 03062. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church.
