Elaine Camille (Bonenfant) Balcom
Elaine Camille (Bonenfant) Balcom, age 84, passed away peacefully at home on January 31st, 2026. Elaine was a life long resident of Nashua. She was born on October 21, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Yolande (Bessette) Bonenfant.
She attended St. Louis Elementary School and was educated in the Catholic School System, graduating from St. Louis de Gonzague High School. She later became a Registered Nurse and graduated from St. Anslem College. Elaine worked for St Josephs Hospital for 35 years as an RN before retiring.
She was the beloved wife of Gerald (Jerry) Balcom. They were married for almost 49 years and shared many years together traveling and spending time between their retirement home in Sunny Florida and here in Nashua.
Elaine loved being outdoors, she absolutely loved gardening. She also continued to care for people in her service through the Hospice House and the Greenbriar Nursing home after her retirement. She enjoyed traveling and seeing other countries with friends and doing excursions through cruise lines with her husband. Above all, Elaine thoroughly enjoyed her family, children, grandchildren, and some special attention to the great grandchildren, that continue to multiply. She will be remembered for her devotion, compassion, strength, and unconditional love for those closest to her.
In addition to her husband, Jerry, Elaine is survived by her daughter Lisa (Boucher) Warcup and her husband Jeff Warcup of Taylorsville, Georgia, her son William J Boucher Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, her daughter Karen Prevost and husband Jerome (Jody) Prevost of Nashua and son Don Balcom and wife Linda of Cape Coral, Florida, son James Balcom of The Plains, Ohio; her grandchildren Roy Caddell, William (Will) Boucher III, Joshua Prevost, Shawna Dziekpor, Zackary Prevost, James Balcom, Glen Balcom, Kristopher Balcom, as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Elaine was predeceased by all of her siblings, sister Estelle Darby, brothers Raymond Bonenfant and Daniel Bonenfant.
SERVICES: Family and friends are invited to Elaines visitation on Tuesday 2/10/26 from 4 – 7 PM at Davis Funeral Home, One Lock Street, Nashua, New Hampshire 03064. Her funeral mass will take place on Wednesday 2/11/26 at 11:00 AM at St. Louis de Gonzague, 47 W. Hollis Street, Nashua. Burial will follow on Thursday 2/12/26 at 2:30 PM at St Louis Cemetery, 752 W Hollis St, Nashua, NH 03062.
