Born in Nashua, she was the daughter of the late Annette (Bouchard) Boucher and Edgar Boucher. Elaine built a life grounded in community, dedication, and the quiet pride she took in her work and relationships.
Elaine began working early in life, serving as a cashier at the A&P supermarket during her high school years. She attended St. Louis de Gonzague as a freshman and sophomore before transferring to Nashua High School, graduating with the Class of 1964.
Following graduation, Elaine pursued her passion for beauty and hairstyling by attending a local hairdressing school. Family time was one of Elaine’s greatest joys. She cherished camping trips in the White Mountains, hiking scenic trails, and savoring the peaceful beauty of nature. Every summer brought the much‒anticipated week at Hampton Beach–a tradition filled with laughter, ocean breezes, and memories her family will forever hold dear.
At home, Elaine found joy in crocheting, especially in crafting afghans that became treasured gifts for those she loved. Her handiwork, like her spirit, brought warmth wherever it went.
