Jon Kurt Horvath

Jon Kurt Horvath longtime resident of Nashua passed peacefully on January 24, 2026, at the Community Hospice House. Jon was born April 4, 1942, in Pittsfield, MA to Joseph and Pricilla (Lundy)Horvath.

Jon was a graduate of Kent’s Hill in Kent’s Hill Maine class of 1960. He continued his education at Boston University earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in 1964. After college Jon began his over 40-year career in Retail Management. He started his career at Anderson Little then went on to Lerner Shops and several other retail establishments in New York State, Massachusetts and Maine. It was at Lerner Shops in Lincoln Rhode Island that he met his wife Doris (Desjardins) Horvath. They married on September 5, 1976, and shared 49 years together. Because of Jon’s work the family moved often from Rhode Island to New York, Virginia, and Maine before settling in Nashua.

Jon was predeceased by his parents, his sister Joyce Wing, his son Doyle Parker-Horvath and grandson Steven Horvath. Jon is survived by his wife Doris, his Daughter Melissa Coulombe and her husband Joe, his son Ryan and his wife Lisa. He is also survived by his grandchildren Carter and Emma Horvath, Lucas & Quinten Horvath and his great-grandson Brayden Gaarder-Horvath. Also, his nephew Scott Cromwell and his wife Simone.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
