Monica Glasheen Grant

Monica Glasheen Grant, age 71, a resident of Nashua, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 with her loving family by her side.

Born in Lowell on June 29, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Ann (Smith) Glasheen. She was educated in the Lowell School system and was a graduate of Lowell High School class of 1973.

Prior to her retirement, Monica was employed as an administrative assistant at the Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsborough for over 25 years. Before having her girls, she loved her work at Wang Laboratories in Lowell.

Monica always found joy with family and friends. She loved hosting holidays, trips to Maidstone Lake, and spending months in Dallas with her girls and family, enjoying the day at the beach, and visiting all the Common Man restaurants with Frank.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Kaitlyn Grant and her husband Patrick Ragan and Molly Grant; her grandson, Finn Ragan; her Love, Frank Miethe; a sister, Sally Marshall; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Michael and Kathy Glasheen and Patrick Glasheen; a brother-in-law, Michael Barry; her beloved nieces and nephews, John Barry, Ryan Barry, Monica Barry, Josh Glasheen and his wife Melissa and their daughters, Brendan Glasheen and his wife Sarah Privitera, Sean Glasheen and his wife Cymantha, Colin Marshall and Alec Marshall and his wife Gabriella; and several cousins and dear friends. She was pre-deceased by her sister Mary Barry and brother-in-law, Marc Marshall.

Friends are welcomed to visit with the family on Saturday, March 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Academy of Notre Dame, 180 Middlesex Rd., Tyngsborough. A Celebration of Her Life will take place immediately following at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel.
