Claudette “Claudie” Berube
Claudette “Claudie” Berube, widow of Raymond G. Berube, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on December 10, 1938, and raised in Nashua, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of Clermont and Germaine (Pichette) Hudon. Claudie attended St. Louis High School, graduating in 1956, and later attended Rivier College.
She spent most of her professional life working in the general insurance business. Following her husband’s passing while living in Meredith, New Hampshire, Claudie returned to Nashua, where she worked at New Hampshire Catholic Charities. After retiring, she volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital until 2020.
In her leisure time, Claudie enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with friends. Ever faithful to her high school, she remained closely connected with her classmates by organizing lunches and dinners over the years and was instrumental in planning the 50th, 55th, and 60th class reunions.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
She is survived by her three daughters: Renee Demers Lane and her husband Michael of Porter, Maine; Michelle Demers Masella and her husband Michael of Rotonda West, Florida; and Julie Demers Swain and her husband Glenn of Nashua, New Hampshire. She also leaves behind six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucie Pelletier of Florida and Vivian Chartrain and her husband, Ray of Maine and Florida; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff at Bowman Place Assisted Living and Bayada Hospice Care Services for the love, compassion, and exceptional care shown to Claudie during her time with them. Your kindness, patience, and genuine concern brought comfort and dignity to her days and meant more to our family than words can express.
Funeral mass and interment will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVCIES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Please visit www.anctil-rochette.com to leave an online condolence and to find finalized service information when available.
