Robert Paul LeBrun

Jan 16, 2026

Robert Paul LeBrun, late of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away on January 5, 2026, at home after a long battle with heart disease.

Robert was born on April 21, 1952, in Nashua, New Hampshire. He graduated from Bishop Guertin High School in 1970. He earned a master’s degree in education from Cambridge College and was also a certified master chef. Bringing together his background in education with his culinary expertise, he found great joy in teaching business management and culinary arts and watching his students excel at the craft. Over his lifetime, Robert proved he was a medical miracle surviving 11 bypass surgeries and 18 stents.

Robert was married to his wife, Lauren, for 33 years. Beneath his rough-around-the-edges exterior, he loved his family deeply. Robert cherished time with Lauren and their sons, often exchanging playful banter with his brother-in-law about her, and took great pride in his sons’ military service. He was an active member of the Sons of the American Legion, where he enjoyed cooking for various functions at the post. Among his proudest accomplishments were earning a master’s degree and raising his children and grandchildren. Robert loved cooking for his family and sharing his wisdom and passion with everyone he met. An avid New England Patriots fan, he also found joy in watching football games with his wife and son.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Lauren LeBrun; his sons, Robert LeBrun, Jr., and James LeBrun and his wife Elizabeth; his sisters, Gloria Kane and Jeanna Uttley; his grandchildren, Jamie, Allison, Brady, and Teddy LeBrun; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Leopold and Lucille LeBrun; and his brothers-in-law: Michael Kane, Robert Uttley, his brother in law, Dave Parr followed within days. A celebration of life for Robert will take place in the spring in Nashua, New Hampshire to honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association at https://www.heart.org/ or the New Hampshire SPCA at https://nhspca.org/ as a tribute to Robert’s love for animals.
