Joy Langlois Bradish

Jan 15, 2026

Joy Langlois Bradish, was the 4th daughter of Ronald and Jacqueline (Ricard) born in Nashua on August 7, 1963. Joy passed away December 19, 2025. She grew up privileged in a multi-generation home with Lucille Rudak (maternal grandmother), Louise Deschenes (aunt), great grandparents, parents and 4 siblings on French Hill. Joy attended Mt. Pleasant, Spring Street Junior High, and Nashua High (1981) where she was recognized as the top business student of her class. She earned an associate’s degree in Administrative Secretarial Management from NCC in Nashua (1983).

She spent the final years of her executive assistant career with the vice president/general manager at BAE Systems until medical issues required her to retire. She was proud of the reputation she earned for being capable, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. She was very appreciative of the support received from her work family during her treatments for ovarian cancer.

Joy brought these same attributes to the BSA Arrowhead District while serving as coordinator for Eagle boards. She was impressed by the many dedicated Scouts who came through the program in the nine years she volunteered.

Joy met her husband, Brian, in Ogunquit, Maine, where her parents had a second home. They were married September 1st, 1984, building a home in Wells, Maine. Once Luke arrived, they decided to move back to the Nashua area to raise their growing family near relatives. Abigail arrived in 1993 and they moved into their home in Merrimack. In 2000, the family was complete with the birth of Thomas. Joy was fortunate to spend 7 years taking care of her family and helping with the operation of Bradish Plumbing. She will always be remembered for baking sweet treats for those she loved.

Joy is survived by her husband of 41 years, Brian, and children: Luke of Kensington, MD, Abigail of Portland, ME, and Thomas; siblings Ronna (Bill) Worth, Luann (Darrell) Booher, Barbara (Doug) McCosh, John (Kathleen) Langlois of Frankfort, KY; aunt Louise Deschenes, cousins Sarah Kiley, Greg Deschenes; uncle David Fahey and cousin Deann Fahey; and many nieces and nephews.
