Darlene V. Donovan

Darlene V. Donovan, 69, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away on Saturday, December 20th, 2025, at Boston Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, due to her battle with pneumonia.

Darlene was born on May 20th, 1956 in Nashua, New Hampshire, daughter of the late Raymond Brickey and Bernice (Burnika) Brickey, and graduated from Nashua High School in 1975.

She was a lifelong resident of Nashua and held multiple jobs at various times in her life. Darlene worked for Houseworks, PC Connection, Front Door Agency and her favorite job was at the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter helping those in need.

Darlene will be remembered by those who knew and loved her, for her love of the ocean, reading non-fiction books and her kitties, but most of all, for her love of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She leaves behind her beloved and devoted children, William A. Hamel III of Brookline, NH and Jaime Zapata of Nashua, NH, along with her 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Darlene is predeceased by her sister Sharon Bubar of Nashua, NH, and her grandson Benjamin W. Hamel.

A private burial will be held in the spring at Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashua, NH.
