Doris “Dolly” (Forrence) Pomerleau
NASHUA – Doris “Dolly” (Forrence) Pomerleau, of Nashua, NH, has gone home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2025. Also, to join her beloved husband of 64 years, Leon Pomerleau, who predeceased her in January 2010. She was a resident of the Hunt Community.
She was born in Nashua to Eva (Provencal) and William Forrence on April 29, 1923.
She leaves behind a son, Leonard Pomerleau, and wife Nicole, also a daughter Debra Belhumeur, and five grandchildren: Jeffrey and Curtis Pomerleau and wife Kristen, William and Jesi Watson, as well as six great-grandchildren: Michael, Holly, Hailey, and Tyler Pomerleau, Owen Masten, Devan, and Riley Watson.
She is predeceased by four sisters, Evelyn Tarbox, Eleanor Pombrio, Dorothy Kuchinski and Mildred W. Pratt, and one Son-in-Law, Ronald Belhumeur.
Dolly was a devoted wife, mother, and Homemaker who enjoyed staying home to take care of her family. Also, she was devoted to her lifelong Catholic religion and was a former member of St. Joseph’s prayer group.
She helped her husband build a summer cottage on Cow Island, Lake Winnipesaukee, and enjoyed it with family for 40 years.
In their retirement years, they moved to Florida and enjoyed 23 years of great weather and great friends, always returning to NH for the summer months to be near the family. They always said that they had the best of both worlds and enjoyed it to the fullest.
Her hobbies were knitting, sewing, and many crafts. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
SERVICES: There will be no visiting hours. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 777 W. Hollis St, Nashua, NH, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 10 am. Interment will take place later on in the Spring at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua, NH. Friends and family are invited to attend. An online guestbook is available at www.davisfuneralhomenh.com.
