Richard “Rick” Allen Phillips
Richard “Rick” Allen Phillips, 60, of Hudson, New Hampshire, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, November 13. Born on December 11, 1964, in Caribou, Maine, he was the son of Richard and Mae (Allen) Phillips. Richard was the husband of Christina Phillips, with whom he shared 28 years of marriage with.
Richard graduated from Alvirne High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of New Hampshire. He later completed his MBA at Boston University.
Richard began his career in IT at Sanders and went on to work as Senior Product Manager with several start-ups for the remainder of his career. Known as a true “computer wiz,” he brought curiosity, intelligence, and dedication to everything he did.
A lifelong lover of soccer, Richard enjoyed both playing and watching the sport all his life. He served as an assistant coach with Hudson Youth Baseball. Richard was proud to serve on the Board of Directors of Nashua Pastoral Care; an organization whose mission meant a great deal to him.
Richard had an adventurous spirit and had a passion for skiing. He skied Tuckerman Ravine a few times and enjoyed Switzerland many times.
In addition to his wife Christina, Richard is survived by his three children Joshua and his wife Jessica, Jarod, and Jonathan; his four grandchildren Dustin, Zoey, Thomas, and Riley; his three siblings Kim, Kathy and Kami; his favorite cousins Sam and Laura; his mother-in-law Carol; as well as many nieces and nephews.
