Jeannette W. Chaput
Jeannette W. Chaput, 87, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, at Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson, NH. Born on January 27, 1938, in Nashua, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Edith (Trudeau) Caron.
Jeannette was educated in the Nashua Catholic schools, attending St. Louis Elementary School and graduating from St. Louis High School. She worked for many years in a clerical role at Pine Motor Parts, where she was known for her dedication and attention to detail.
Jeannette was the beloved wife of the late Roger Chaput, who predeceased her in 1994. Together, they built a warm and loving home, and she cherished the life they shared.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Jeannette was incredibly supportive, always there for her sons and grandsons, especially at their hockey games. As a passionate Bruins and hockey fan, she was their #1 cheerleader, often found cheering from the stands and sharing in the excitement of the game.
Jeannette also had an adventurous spirit and was an avid traveler. Paris held a special place in her heart as her favorite destination, and she loved exploring new places and cultures throughout her life.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, from reading books and working on puzzles to spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Jeannette also dedicated her time and talents as a volunteer at Infant Jesus School, where her gentle spirit and kindness were deeply appreciated by all who knew her.
Jeannette is survived by her six children Daniel Chaput and his wife Mary of Merrimack, David Chaput and his wife Monica of Nashua, Donna Blais and her husband Radley of Lamirada, CA, Diane Chaput of Lamirada, CA, Dennis Chaput and his wife Gloria of Mason, and Douglas Chaput and his wife Melanie of Nashua; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; her sister Louise Kruse of Seal beach, CA; her brother David Caron and his wife Pauline of Naples, FL; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Roger, She was predeceased by her grandson Dereck Chaput and her sister Cecile Chamberlain and her husband Al.
All services will be held privately. Jeannette will be interred at St. Louis de Gonzague Cemetery in Nashua.
