Marianna C. Rosato

Marianna C. Rosato (Walsh), aged 70, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, at her home in the Langdon Place of Nashua, NH.

Marianna was born August 12, 1955, in Brooklyn, NY, to loving parents William Walsh and Mary Walsh (Morris). The family would move to Edgemere and later Valley Stream, NY, where she would graduate from Valley Stream South H.S., and go on to attend Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Marianna worked for City Stores Company in New York City, and went on to open businesses; The Top Shelf Pub in Nyack, NY and Lauderdale’s in Nanuet, NY. She also began to raise her two children in New City, NY. In 2005, she relocated to Nashua, NH, beginning a 19-year career at Edward Jones with a team she truly loved.

Marianna’s affection for helping others brought her so much joy. She focused on those around her and brightening their day. She was quick to offer a helping hand. Her quick wit and dry sense of humor delighted everyone who knew her. A devoted mom, grandmother, and friend she enjoyed sharing a movie, game, or good meal with friends and family. She always said her favorite activity was to spend time with her beloved grandchildren.

Marianna is survived by her daughter, Julianne Rosato of Sarasota, FL; son, Mark Rosa to and his wife Ance Rosato of Sarasota, FL; her two grandchildren, Emma and Jaxen; brothers, Richard Walsh of Las Vegas, NV, and Joseph Walsh and his wife Susanne Walsh of Greenlawn, NY; sister, Noreen Dutile and her husband Donald Dutile of Merrimack, NH; sister-in-law, Karin Walsh (Westervelt) of Winnabow, NC; 12 nieces and nephews; 17 great nieces and nephews; and aunt and uncles: Grace and Frank Morris, Brother Roman Morris, and William Morris. Marianna also had a large number of cousins and friends whom she loved very much. Marianna is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Walsh; brother, William “Billy” Walsh of Nyack, NY; and Dennis Walsh of Leland, NC.

SERVICES: Final respects can be made in the Gathering Space (foyer) of Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Road, Nashua, NH, on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 8:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately after at 9:00 a.m.

Marianna will be interred at her final resting place alongside her brother Billy at St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY, at 12:00 noon, on Monday, November 10, 2025.
