George E. Pollard
George E. Pollard, 64, of Lyndeborough, NH, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27th, 2025, at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA, after a brief illness.
He was born on September 25th, 1961, in Nashua, NH, to the late George H. and Jacqueline R. (Dupont) Pollard. He grew up in Merrimack and later lived for many years in Nashua before settling in Lyndeborough in 2004.
George was employed by The Huntington in Nashua for many years, where he enjoyed his work as a Groundskeeper. A man with a true green thumb, George took immense pride in maintaining his yard at home, as well. He loved spending time outdoors and was an avid bird watcher. When not doing yard work, many fond memories were made around his fires. In the summer, George spent much time in Cape Neddick, Maine, with friends who became family.
George also shared a special bond with his cat, Hunter. It was a familiar sight to see George calling for Hunter in the yard, only to watch his loyal companion come running to his side.
Along with his parents, George was predeceased by a brother, Joe Pollard; a niece, Kimberly Pollard; a nephew, Josh Pollard; and a sister-in-law, Terri Pollard.
He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 41 years, Connie (Sargent) Pollard; daughter Jamie and her husband Chris Pixley; two grandchildren, Cameron and Logan Pixley; siblings, Lee Pollard, Cheryl and her husband Glenn Carter, Sam Pollard and his wife Stacy; sister-in-law, Pauline Pollard; nephew Justin and nieces Renee, Teryn, Sydney, Sophia, Brittany, and Ashley, as well as many cousins.
Memorial visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, from 1 – 4 PM.
