Damien Scott LaPorte
Damien Scott LaPorte was born on July 17, 2005, to Jeffrey S. LaPorte and Danielle (Robedeau) LaPorte. He was the best big brother to Alexis R. LaPorte, and they did everything together (especially late-night McDonald’s runs).
He graduated from Hillsboro Deering High School in 2023 and went on to study computers and cars (his two favorite things, other than Cheeze It’s) at Lakes Region Community College. He worked at Mr. G’s Tire Center in New Boston, which made him come home pretty dirty, but he didn’t mind. He acquired his first love (a 1997 Chevy pickup truck, which you could hear coming from a mile away) when he was just 14 years old. He and his father hotwired it and brought it home like it was GTA. He touched so many lives with his big heart and kind soul, and his smile lit up a room so bright that you didn’t need a light to see. His passion for cars gave him the opportunity to make friends from all around the United States. He has a big family who loved him dearly and will miss his smile and funny stories.
He is survived by his mother, Father, Sister, as well as his Grand parents Gary R. LaPorte, Denise C. LaPorte, Brenda M. Keene, and Stepfather Shelton K. Keene, his aunts and uncles; Craig and Becky LaPorte, Jamie Robedeau, Kevin Keene, Michael Hopkins, Lori Keene, Robert Keene, and Veronica Radzwill, his cousins; Joshua and Kevin Laporte (also his best friend), Jayden and Jacob Robedeau, Skye-lee, Robert Jr. and Jaxon Keene and Jayden Petis, and best friend Richard Robbins. He was happiest when working on his many cars, snowmobiles, and ATVs with Richard and Kevin, and he was a constant presence at numerous car and truck shows that welcomed him with open arms. Damien is predeceased by his grandfather, Daniel E. Robedeau.
He will be deeply missed by anyone who ever got to know him–gone too soon and far too young. Fly high, baby boy, until we meet again.
