Norman Joseph Ratty

Norman Joseph Ratty, 73, of Nashua, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on February 3, 1952, the son of the late C. Normand and Madeleine (Marchand) Ratte.
Norman was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Lowell, Massachusetts, and later built a long career in the textile industry with PolarTec, LLC, formerly Malden Mills, Inc., where he was a dedicated and hardworking employee for many years.
On May 29, 1976, Norman married the love of his life, Barbara Ann Fuller, in Nashua, New Hampshire, and together they shared nearly 50 years of marriage. Above all, Norman cherished his family and especially treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren, who brought him great joy.
Norman’s final sentiment on life was “I have lived an awesome life, thanks to my entire family, whom I have loved with all my heart.” Norman lived his life with a passion that will forever be remembered. From long-time friends and family to folks he just met, he treated those around him with love, respect and dignity. His selflessness was unwavering, his laughter was infectious, and a hole has been left in the heart of all those that had the honor of knowing him.
Norman is predeceased by his parents, and by his brothers Raymond Ratty, and Paul Ratty.
