Pearly G. Deneault Jr.

After a long and well-experienced life, we are saddened to learn that Pearly G. Deneault Jr. passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Benchmark Senior Living in Nashua. A longtime resident of Crown Hill, he attended the former Sacred Heart school and graduated from Nashua High. He attended classes at Lowell Tech, then entered the Army, spending his deployment with the 33rd Regiment, a jungle training unit based in the Panama Canal Zone. He married his high school sweetheart, Jane (Potry), who joined him in Panama before returning to Nashua to raise her family, with Pearly following soon after his honorable discharge. His career focused on mechanical engineering, designing and building production equipment. Taking night classes, he achieved his MS degree from Rivier College, the first member of his family to reach a Master’s level degree. He was most proud of his accomplishment as a small business owner, setting up a distribution/engineering company after his full-time retirement, continuing the business just short of his passing.
In addition to his day job, he focused on his entrepreneurial side, being the founder of the mid-60’s local dancing discotheque called the Go Go Den, located at Otterson and Vine which featured nationally known bands such as the Bobby Fuller Four (I Fought the Law). He later joined two associates planning the construction of a Nashua Garden event center on Coliseum Ave. Remember the skating rink? Along with Jane, he was a long-time participant of the Rivier Prayer Community. Being quite social, he sold life insurance on the side, and a natural at planning reunion events with his close classmates, right up until Covid. He also helped plan reunions with the 33rd Regiment Association, which met all over the country. He’d just light up doing all of this with very close friends. In his younger years he served in various ministries at St Patrick’s Parish Nashua and more recently with St. Louis de Gonzague parish, joining Fr. Marcos in making their annual Franco Night Event a success.
In addition to his wife Jane, he is survived by two children, Leonard Deneault (Barbara), Laurie Collins (Dillard), grandchildren Phillip Deneault, Daniel Collins, Katie Calendrillo, Maria Susi, their spouses and six great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to Pearly’s visitation on FRIDAY, September 26th from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will take place on FRIDAY, September 26th at 10 AM at St. Louis de Gonzague Parish 48 W. Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment will follow immediately at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Hudson. Pearly was always a strong supporter of his home parish. In lieu of flowers, he would be honored to know that those wishing to make a donation, would send it in his name to St. Louis de Gonzague Parish, 48 West Hollis St. Nashua, NH 03060.
