Charles M. Marshall

Charles M. Marshall, 84, of Nashua, NH, passed peacefully from this life on Monday, September 15th, 2025, after a period of declining health.
Charles was born in New York City on January 14th, 1941, to the late Ralph and Angelina (Rivera) Marshall. He grew up in the Upper West Side neighborhoods of colorful mid-century Manhattan and was proud to have graduated from New York’s renowned Stuyvesant High School. Charles met his beloved June soon after starting his lengthy career in tariff management with KLM Airlines, and they married in November 1963. While living in New York, they started their family and had three boys, Thomas, Gregory, and Erik.
In 1970 Charles and June moved to Amherst, NH with their young family, where they lived for 18 years before becoming longtime residents of Merrimack and then ultimately Nashua, where Charles resided for his last five years.
Charles loved spending time with family and was always ready to play games and initiate activities involving his kids and his grandchildren. Some of the family’s best memories include growing up playing football with him out in the yard every weekend; him taking the family to the theaters to catch matinee showings of every big movie release of the Seventies era; and later, spending time with him every summer on Peaks Island, where he loved nothing more than to be surrounded by his grandkids for island exploring, board games, movie nights, and drinking ice cream floats.
Along with his parents and his sister Nancy, Charles is predeceased by his wife June and their son Erik. He leaves behind his brother, Ralph Marshall of White Plains, NY; his son Thomas and wife Laura of Stow, MA; son Gregory and his wife Wende of Londonderry, NH; and his four adoring grandchildren: Katherine and Nathaniel of Londonderry, and Zachary and Ryan of Stow.
Calling hours were held at the Rivet Funeral Home in Merrimack, NH on Monday, September 22nd, 2025, from 5 – 7 PM.
