Judith Ann (Zeno) Patterson

Judith Ann (Zeno) Patterson, 86, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, after a long journey with Alzheimer’s.

Born October 30, 1938, in Bellows Falls, VT, Judy was one of five children in a single parent family. Early hardships shaped her into a woman of kindness, resilience, and gratitude. She devoted her life to caring for others as a nurse, a loving wife to the late Frank Patterson, and a proud mother and grandmother.

Judy was incredibly creative and generous, known for her ceramics and for baking cakes for every occasion. She loved Ireland, filling her home with reminders of its spirit, and cherished time with extended family and close friends. She loved watching baseball, especially when her son played. She never missed a game.

She is survived by her son, Pat Patterson and his wife Laura; grandchildren Ella and Charlie of Nashua, NH; sister Dottie and brother in-law George Cross of Winooski, VT; sister-in-law Genelle Zeno Garvin of Melbourne, FL; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Patterson, her mother Kitty Zeno, her sister Helen Sokolosky and brother in-law Mike Sokolosky, her sister Shirley Zeno, and her brother Paul Zeno.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Vermont in November. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.
