Roland Conrad Sylvestre

March 30, 1945 – August 29, 2025

Roland Conrad Sylvestre, 80, of Ruskin, Florida, passed away on August 29, 2025, following a fall in Tampa. Born on March 30, 1945, to Conrad and Jeanne Sylvestre, Roland lived a full and meaningful life devoted to his family, community, and service.

He was the beloved husband of Diane Paradise Sylvestre, with whom he shared 50 years of love and partnership. Roland is survived by his wife, Diane; their three children, Robert, Jennifer Clatfelter, and Eric; and six cherished grandchildren–three in Florida and three in Londonderry, New Hampshire–who brought him immense joy.

Roland’s career began in air traffic control in 1983, and he later worked at PC Connection until his retirement. Beyond his professional life, he found happiness on the water while boating, and in traveling and adventuring with Diane in their RV. He also gave his time and heart volunteering with Meet Me on the Streets, helping to feed and support those in need.

Roland’s legacy will be remembered in the love he shared with his family and the generosity of his commitment to giving back.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
