Scott Crooker

Scott Crooker, 69, lifelong resident of Milford, with an unforgettable presence, passed away on July 24 at Premier Rehab Healthcare in Nashua . Born with a big personality, Scott was known for his energetic and gregarious nature. You could always hear him before you saw him, his laughter and booming voice filling any room he entered.
Scott was a proud member of the Milford Spartans 1972 championship basketball team. His two great passions were having some laughs and cooking. He spent many happy years behind the wheel of his beloved Cadillac, cruising around town with the windows down. He also poured his heart and soul into his work as a cook and owner at the Milford Diner, where he created delicious meals and even more memorable conversations with his patrons. His larger-than-life personality and friendly demeanor made him a favorite among the regulars.
He is survived by his daughter, Sarah A. Eckley, of Raleigh, North Carolina.
