John Joseph DeLuca

John Joseph DeLuca, 56, died peacefully on Friday evening, August 1, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Diane A. (Hebert) DeLuca with whom he shared nearly 18 years of marriage, celebrating on September 8, 2007.
John was born in Rome, New York on March 21, 1969 and was the son of Janet Louise (Saamer) Scott of South Carolina and the late Joseph DeLuca Jr. He received his education at Birch Hill Elementary School in Nashua and graduated from Hollis High School with the class of 1988.
For numerous years, he worked as a mechanic/technician working at Nick’s Exon Service Station as well as Midas in Nashua.
John, a devoted Red Sox fan, passed away leaving behind a legacy of passion for life’s simple pleasures. As a mechanic, John had an unmatched knowledge of cars and could talk for hours about every make and model, with his heart forever loyal to the 1970 Cyclone GT. His love for “The Doors” resonated deeply, and their music was the soundtrack to his life, cherished since his teenage years. John’s true joy, however, came from the time spent with his family. His nephews were his pride and joy, and he was always the protective brother. Whether it was camping trips to Effingham, NH, or serene days at Lake Sunapee with a cold beer in hand, John embraced life’s moments with gratitude and warmth. His spirit will be remembered for its authenticity, love, and devotion to those closest to him.
In addition to his wife, Diane, and his mother, Janet, he is survived by his two brothers, Paul DeLuca and his significant other Tricia Harrison of Nashua and James DeLuca and his wife Sarah of Nashua; his four nephews, Nicholas DeLuca and his significant other Kassandra Couillard, Kyle DeLuca and his wife Kayla, Owen DeLuca and his wife Haley, and Ian DeLuca and his significant other Kayla Silva. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews, Logan Chadbourne, Ryan DeLuca, Dawson DeLuca, and Raegan DeLuca as well as his in-laws, several nieces, nephews and numerous dear friends.
