Valerie A. (Tomasian) Times
Valerie A. (Tomasian) Times, age 82, a longtime resident of Tyngsborough, passed away at her home on Thursday, July 3, 2025 with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth A. Times with whom she shared over 57 years of marriage.
Born in Nashua, on November 28, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Archie and Stephanie (Sinkervitch) Tomasian. She was raised in Nashua and educated in the Nashua school system and was a graduate of Nashua High School. She then attended the St. Joseph Hospital Nursing program and earned her LPN.
She worked at her parent’s business,The Little Shoe Store for many years, as well as a proofreader at Royal Business Forms all in Nashua, NH. However, she found her true vocation in nursing, working at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, St. Joseph Hospital, Fairview Nursing Home and Private Care in the Nashua Area. She was co-owner of Lawndale Farm with her husband, and worked side by side with him albeit, tending to the crops or the till at the Farm Stand.
A member of the Evangelical Congregational Church of Tyngsborough, where she had been active for decades at times President of the Women’s Club for many years, as well as volunteering at the Church Thrift store.
She enjoyed traveling, singing, gardening, had a keen sense for fashion and loved to decorate for every holiday in grand style. In addition, she had an affinity for cinema, musicals and reading. There was never a time when she didn’t have a book in hand or music playing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving her in addition to her loving husband are three children, Kenneth Times III, Douglas Times and his wife Brenda and Cindy Ramaska and her husband Matthew; six grandchildren, Carter, Kendall, Camryn, Colby, Samson and Ivy; a sister, Lynda Tomasian, and a nephew Tim Tomasian. She was predeceased by her brother V. Warren Tomasian.

Funeral services and burial will take place privately for her family. Relatives and friends are invited to her Celebration of Life on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at the Princeton Station, 147 Princeton St., N. Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in her memory to the Evangelical Congregational Church of Tyngsborough, 23 Kendall Rd, Tyngsborough.
