Jeffrey P. Thompson Sr.

On Friday, June 27th, 2025, Jeffrey P. Thompson Sr., 63, succumbed to esophageal cancer after a courageous battle, surrounded by family and friends.
Jeff was born, grew up and raised his own children in his family’s home in Windham, NH. After going through the Windham School District, he continued his education at Alvirne High School and graduated in 1980. By design, he and his brothers were brought into the automotive business by their father, Bernard J. Thompson, Sr. He began working at MacMulkin Chevrolet in 1978. His father bought the dealership in 1980 and enjoyed working every day for 47 years. In 2013, Jeff and his brother Thomas became the dealer operators and started many other businesses including the restaurants, Friendly Red’s. His real passion was farming. Jeff always dreamt of owning and operating a big farm in Windham, NH and he was able to accomplish that by building the Thompson Family Farm. During the winters, he enjoyed going to Naples, FL with his family, especially his loving wife.
He is predeceased by his father, Bernard J. Thompson Sr. and mother, Jean M. Thompson.
Jeff is survived by his cherished wife of 28 years, Christina L. Thompson; his two loving children who he adored, Samantha J. Thompson and her partner Nicholas Brown and Jeffrey P. Thompson Jr. his wife Abigail; his step-daughter, Cynthia L. Fortier and her partner Dacare Tyler; his grandchildren Jaidyn L. Stultz, Jaxxon D. Tyler, Justin D. Tyler and Julian D. Tyler; his two loving brothers, Thomas C. Thompson Sr. and his wife Bonnie, and Bernard J. Thompson Jr. and his wife Shelly, and their children, his nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to visitation on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 2- 6PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 21, at 11AM, at Saint Matthew Church, 2 Searles Road, Windham, NH. Donations can be made in his name, Jeffrey P.
