Dawn (Barmann) Lorden

Dawn (Barmann) Lorden, 68, of Merrimack, NH passed away peacefully at her home on June 28, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer.

Dawn was born in Wareham, Massachusetts on September 1, 1956, the daughter of Peter and Betty Barmann. The family moved to Nashua, NH when Dawn was young and she spent most of her childhood in New Hampshire, with a short time spent in Kentucky.

Dawn met her husband Ken Lorden in 1986 and after a brief courtship, they were married on April 3, 1987. They went on to spend 38 wonderful years together as husband and wife.

In 1988 Ken and Dawn built their first home in Milford, NH where they welcomed their two children and in 2001 built their home in Temple, NH where they would spend the next 22 years raising their sons and enjoying life on the beautiful property in Temple.

Dawn was a kind and loving soul and will always be remembered for her ability to see the good in people and her unwavering love and care for her husband, her sons, and everyone she was close to. Dawn will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but especially her husband and her sons who she devoted her life to caring for.

Dawn leaves behind the love of her life, Ken Lorden of Merrimack, NH, her boys Dennis Lorden of Milford, NH and Noah Lorden of Wilton, NH, her brothers Dennis Barmann (Linda) of Sanford, North Carolina, Peter Barmann of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, and Sister Holly Cairell of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and many more cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

There will be no calling hours. Services will be private.
