James “Jim” Christopher Spinella

Jul 2, 2025

James “Jim” Christopher Spinella, 49, of Nashua, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 28, 2025. He was born on June 12, 1976, in Methuen, Massachusetts, the son of Frank Spinella and Anne Marie (Pelletier) Spinella.

Jim was the beloved husband of his high school sweetheart, Melissa (Rondeau) Spinella. They were married on June 10, 2006, in Nashua and shared a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.

Raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Jim was active in the Boy Scouts. Jim later moved to Nashua and was a graduate of Nashua High School class of 1994. Jim was a true car enthusiast and had a special passion for Chevys and Corvettes, especially his prized 1975 Chevy Malibu. He loved attending car shows and connecting with other enthusiasts in the community.

Jim was also a devoted animal lover, forming a deep and lasting bond with his beloved dogs–Coors, Bailey, and Kahlua–who were his loyal companions and brought him endless joy.

A man known for his warmth and humor, Jim’s festive spirit came alive during the holiday season. On Thanksgiving afternoon, he could be found setting up a grand display of holiday inflatables. By the time November rolled around, he fully transformed into “Clark Griswold,” spreading holiday cheer throughout the neighborhood with his dazzling decorations and joyful energy.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Spinella; his parents, Frank and Anne Marie Spinella; his siblings, Andrew Spinella and his wife Renee, and Lauren Spinella. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Beverly Goodwin and her husband Henry; his sister-in-law, Kathy Callander and her husband Scott; and his beloved niece and nephews: Makayla Callander, Jedidiah Callander and his significant other Katelynn, and Sean Deschenes. Jim will be dearly missed by his aunts and uncles: Diane DeLollis and her significant other Joe, the late Daniel Pelletier and his wife Mary, Michele Charland and her husband Glenn, Kim Bouldin and her husband Mike, Karen Boshar and her husband Phil, and Lori Beverage and her husband Lyford, as well as by many cousins and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock Street, Nashua, NH 03064. A funeral service will follow on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 West Hollis Street, Nashua, NH 03062.
