Adelina “Addie” Jean

Jun 24, 2025

Adelina “Addie” Jean, 54, of Litchfield, New Hampshire, passed away on June 18, 2025, after a quiet and courageous battle with illness. Born on November 13, 1970, in Nashua, Addie was the daughter of the late Rose (Wheeler) Carpenter and Emanuel Boleareo and stepdaughter to Charles Carpenter.

A proud graduate of Nashua Senior High School South, Class of 1988, Addie pursued higher education at Southern New Hampshire University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance in 1997. She built a career in the accounting and finance field, later adapting to life’s challenges by taking on various jobs after becoming medically disabled.

Addie had an infectious love of music and dancing, visiting her favorite restaurants, enjoying ice cream, going to the beach, and walking outdoors. She also cherished time at the gym, thrifting, coloring art with her sister, and spending time with family.

Addie is survived by her son, Kaz Jean, and his father, Todd Jean, both of Hudson; her siblings, Cheryl Sprague and her significant other, Kenneth Kreb, of Litchfield, and Angela Wheeler of Connecticut; and her niece and nephew, Scott Sprague, and Tanya Butler. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews and cousins in and out of state.

True to her private nature, Addie kept her illness close, confiding only in her sister Cheryl, her son Kaz, and former husband Todd. She wished to be remembered not for her illness, but for her vibrant, fun-loving personality and the joy she brought to others.

A private graveside gathering will be held at the cemetery in Hollis, where family and close friends will honor Addie’s memory and share their goodbyes. In lieu of flowers, donations to assist with burial costs may be made to Rochette Funeral Home, as well as to organizations supporting Alzheimer’s disease research.
