Sharon Ann Vinecombe

Sharon Ann Vinecombe (Quinn) died on March 6, 2025, in Wilmington, NC following a long battle with cancer. She was born June 13, 1956, in Lowell, MA, the daughter of Richard J. (Dick) and Virginia (Ginny) Quinn (Stouffer).
Sharon grew up in Lowell, MA, and met her husband Brad on a blind date in Chelmsford, MA. She graduated from Lowell High School in 1974 and married Brad in June of 1974.
Brad and Sharon relocated to Merrimack, NH in 1981 and raised three sons, Craig, Adam, and Eric. Sharon was a beloved member of the community, volunteering at her son’s schools as her children grew up. In 1989, she started as a teacher’s aide at James Mastricola Elementary School in Merrimack, where she touched the lives of countless students. She was known as a devoted mentor to many students and loved her daily hugs. Sharon made many lifelong friends while working at Mastricola.
Sharon loved spending time with family and friends, gardening, working on home improvement projects, playing puzzle games, reading, and following politics and Boston sports teams. She loved to decorate her house for all holidays, especially Christmas.
In 2016, Brad and Sharon moved to Wilmington, NC, to be closer to their grandchildren, where they cherished watching their granddaughter Taylore grow into a talented dancer and grandson Avery develop into a young athlete.
Sharon’s love for family and friends will be forever missed.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Brad, three sons, their partners, and two very beloved grandchildren: Craig and Tonia Vinecombe of Lexington, VA, Adam and Christian Vinecombe and their children, Taylore and Avery, of Wilmington, NC, and Eric Vinecombe and his partner Jillian Sanders of Manchester, NH along with many nephews and nieces.
