Irene (Brodeur) Boldini

Irene (Brodeur) Boldini, 90, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

Born in Nashua on January 6, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Florida (Tremblay) Brodeur. Irene graduated from St. Louis High School in 1953. She began her career at Isidore’s Beauty Shop, where she worked for 23 years before opening her own business, Irene’s Beauty Shop, which she proudly owned and operated for 35 years. After her retirement in 2008, she continued to help her husband Mario with his janitorial business.

On April 12, 1969, Irene married Mario Boldini, with whom she shared a devoted partnership until his passing in 2018. She was a communicant of the Parish of the Resurrection and found joy in giving back to her community. Irene also enjoyed traveling cross-country, visiting national parks and historical landmarks on their way to see family in Seattle, as well as making cherished trips to visit relatives in Canada. A member of the senior bowling league at Leda Lanes, she embraced each day with a sense of fun and camaraderie. Irene was also an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles, and enjoyed the art of cross-stitch.

Irene is survived by her two daughters, JoLynn Boldini-Johnson and her husband Derek of Seattle, WA, and Leta Boldini of Rothesay, N.B., Canada; her beloved granddaughter, Olivia E. Power of Rothesay; her sister, Alma Raskiewicz of Nashua; her brother-in-law, Rick Boldini of Philadelphia; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Mario, and her siblings Roland Brodeur, Norman “Joe” Brodeur, Robert Brodeur, Elizabeth Brodeur, and Lucille Caron.

Irene’s Funeral Mass will be held on FRIDAY, June 6th at 10 a.m. in Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad St., Nashua. Kindly meet at the church. Her interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 460 Nashua St., Milford, NH.
