John Pentasuglia

John Pentasuglia of Nashua, NH, 63, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Hospital on the morning of May 8th, 2025, with his wife Hilary by his side. John was born in New Hartford, NY on October 19, 1961, to parents Quirrico and Catherine Pentasuglia. John graduated from Thomas R. Proctor High school in Utica, NY in 1979, and went on to earn his college degree from the State University of New York at Canton in 1981. He completed his certificate from the College of Financial Planning in 1997. John married Hilary Anglum in September 1984 and they relocated to Nashua, NH where they remained for the next 40 years, and had two children. Throughout his early career, John worked in various restaurants around New York and Boston, including The Capital Grille, Davide, and Tavern on the Green; meeting various athletes and celebrities he loved sharing the stories of with his family. He was an incredible chef whose specialties included various Italian dishes. John left the restaurant business and started his own construction company for the second half of his career; the highlight of which was building a beautiful ranch home in Dover, NH in 2008. John was an intelligent man, self-taught in construction, who enjoyed learning, reading, traveling, spending time with his family, and giving treats to his doggies, Madison, Zobear, Ramsey, and Ellie. John was a lifetime fan of the Indianapolis Colts and the LA Dodgers.
John is survived by his wife, Hilary Pentasuglia; son, Matthew Pentasuglia; daughter, Lauren Pentasuglia and spouse Dan Marrier; granddaughter, and light of his life Avery Grace Marrier; mother, Catherine Pentasuglia; and siblings, Joey and wife Judy, Mike and wife Maggie, Bobby and spouse Kim, Mary and spouse Liz, Patty and husband Brian, and Cathy and husband Jeff; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Quirrico. John’s loss is felt deeply by his family and friends, and he will be missed greatly.
