Jeanette Petit Renna

Jeanette Petit Renna, 82, of Nashua, widow of Richard M. Renna, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 8, 2025, with her loving family by her side after a period of declining health.
A native of Queens, New York, Jeanette was born on May 10, 1942, a daughter of the late Leopold and Lena (Lombardi) Petit. Jeanette grew up in Queens and attended Saint Clements Parochial School. She graduated from Jamaica Vocational High School with the class of 1959.
In addition to raising her five children, Jeanette was employed at General Electric in New York City and after moving to Nashua in September of 1979, she worked in the Human Resource office of Digital Equipment Corporation in Merrimack. Jeanette also worked for Oxford Health Plans and United Healthcare.
Jeanette loved music and played the Accordian. She especially loved spending time with her family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a communicant of the Parish of the Resurrection.
On June 8, 1963, Jeanette and her husband “Richie” were married in Queens, NY and shared 42 wonderful years together until his passing on December 20, 2005.
Members of her family include her five daughters, Grace A. Martin and her husband Brian, Pamela A. Renna and her partner Eve Degrazia, Rochelle M. Renna and her partner Jennifer Gibbs, Jeanette L. Caron and her husband Brian, and Melissa A. Sprague and her husband Christopher; five grandchildren, Joshua, Jacqueline, Julia, Sofia and Edward; three great-grandchildren, Colton, Myles and Cameron; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. One of nine children, Jeanette was predeceased by her eight brothers and sisters.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Wednesday, May 14th from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad Street, Nashua, Thursday, May 15th at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
