Antoinette Russell

Antoinette Russell, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, at the age of 83.
She was born on November 29, 1941, in Bennington, Vermont, to Steve and Connie (Kipp) Vince.
Antoinette devoted her life to teaching and helping children. She worked for many years as a fifth-grade teacher in the Nashua School District, primarily at Ledge Street School, where she was a beloved and respected educator. Known for her kindness, patience, and deep care for her students, she followed their lives long after they left her classroom–avidly reading the newspaper and proudly celebrating the accomplishments of Ledge Street alumni. A lifelong lover of music, Antoinette also played in the school band until her retirement.
Outside of her career in education, Antoinette remained an active and giving member of the community. She was a skilled knitter and used that talent to make blankets for hospital programs throughout the area. She was also deeply committed to Al-Anon, where she spent many years organizing and leading meetings in both the Milford and Nashua communities. Through this work, she offered comfort, guidance, and hope to countless families affected by alcoholism.
Antoinette was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Connie Vince. She is survived by her cousin, Barbara Drew of North Carolina, and will be deeply missed by her adopted family: Deborah and Ken Lennox, Joseph Lennox, Andrew Lennox, and Donna Hardwick, all of Nashua, NH. She will also be missed by her devoted caregiver, JoAnn Johnston.
Her warmth, generosity, and quiet strength touched many lives, and she leaves behind a legacy of compassion and community spirit. Antoinette’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11 am, at Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst St, Nashua, NH. Pastor Doug Rickard to officiate.
