Jane R. Baker

Jane R. Baker, 95, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025. Born on March 9, 1930, in Brockton, Massachusetts, she was the beloved daughter of the late Bradford H. and Eleanor Ledoux Robinson.
Jane was the devoted wife of the late Donald S. Baker, with whom she shared over fifty cherished years of marriage. She worked as a secretary at several companies in the Boston area, including Raytheon until 1958 and Trinity Church in Boston until she retired in the1980s.
A woman of quiet strength and warm spirit, Jane found joy in simple pleasures. She was an avid knitter and crocheter, whose beautiful handmade pieces were treasured by family and friends. In her later years, Jane remained active in her community as a longtime building monitor at Ledgewood Hills, where she was a familiar, helpful and welcoming presence to her neighbors and friends.
Jane is survived by her sister Edna Dutra of Hyannis MA, beloved nieces Nancy Richard, Sharon Hrichak, Jeanne Clendenin and Catherine Post, her dear friends Shantel & Joseph Cooper, and their three daughters, Jane’s granddaughters of the heart, Briana, Megan, and Jessica, and many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Jane was predeceased by her brother Frederick A. Robinson and nephew, Scott F. Dutra.
