Robert Paul “Bob” Donah

Robert Paul “Bob” Donah, 84, died peacefully at the VA Medical Center in Manchester on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Suzanne Yvette (Ayotte) Donah with whom he shared 56 years of marriage prior to her passing on March 15, 2025.

Robert was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on January 6, 1941, and was the son of the late Robert J. and Rita (Dube) Donah.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy until he was honorably discharged in January of 1962.

For many years he worked in the food industry for various companies.

In his younger years, he was a skilled softball pitcher as well as an avid bowler. He loved to travel to various destinations, competing as a traveling pro bowler. Bob’s love for sports extended beyond his own participation as he also coached baseball, inspiring and mentoring the next generation. A proud veteran, he served with honor and was a devoted member of the American Veterans and the Nashua VFW Post 483. There, he held the esteemed position of past president of the men’s auxiliary, and proudly participated in the honor guard, showing his unwavering commitment to both his country and community. Bob’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, along with his love of sports, and his deep sense of patriotism.

He is survived by his three children, Craig Donah and his wife Susie of Yonkers, NY, Keith Donah and his wife Jeannine of Hillsborough, and Curt Donah and his wife Audrey of Concord, NH; his three grandchildren, Nathan Donah, Kimberly Donah, and Cody Humphreys. He is also survived by his two sisters, Pauline Green of Derry, and Jane Lemerise and her husband Dennis of Nashua, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Bob’s visitation on MONDAY, April 7th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. He and Suzanne will be interred on TUESDAY, April 8th at 10 AM in the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH. Military honors will be presented. If you choose to attend their graveside, please arrive at the cemetery by 9:40 AM.
