Laurie Donohue, M.D.

Nov 1, 2024

Dr. Laurie Donohue left our world too soon on Oct. 24, 2024, after a brave stand against an interstitial lung disease. Laurie’s life force was her wife of 30 years, Maureen Servas and their son Samrin Servas-Donohue along with their beloved dogs and cats. She was enveloped in an incredible circle of love including her sister Janet (Dave) Durocher, brothers Jack (Rita) Donohue and Dan Donohue, countless in-laws, many nieces and nephews, friends, colleagues, and a chosen family that have fed and cared for every aspect of her life.

Dr. Laurie Donohue was proudly a family doctor who cared for generations of families through her career first at Woodward Health Center, Brown Square Health Center and finally Anthony Jordan Health Center where she served as Chief Medical Officer until her retirement in 2022.

She was fiercely devoted to people who were underserved, overlooked and marginalized. This was her purpose in life and in her singular, small way it was her attempt at righting the injustice that exists in our world.

Laurie was a graduate of Mount St. Mary High School, Nashua, NH, Mt. St. Mary’s College, Hooksett, NH, Emanuel College, Boston, MA and Dartmouth Medical School, Hanover, NH.

Laurie was the daughter of the late John Donohue and Eileen (O’Brien) Donohue.

She also was predeceased by a brother David Donohue in 2021.

In lieu of flowers please honor Laurie with a donation to any charity of your choice that speaks to her care for those less fortunate or her love of animals.
