Theresa Ann Bisson
Theresa Ann Bisson, 71, died peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2024 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by her loving family. She is the beloved wife of Joseph W. Bisson with whom she shared 37 years of marriage. In addition to her husband, Joseph, she is survived by her two sons, Joseph A. Bisson and Michael W. Bisson, and extended family members residing in New Jersey and Rhode Island.
Theresa was born in Newark, New Jersey on June 25, 1953 and was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Margaret (Pace) Riccca. She grew up and received her education in Nutley, New Jersey. Theresa pursued higher education at Jersey City State College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1976.
Theresa explored various career paths throughout her life. Most recently, she served as a sales associate at Jordan’s Furniture in Nashua until she retired. However, her true passion in life was her family and friends. She was a beloved wife and mother, whose guidance helped her husband become a better man and her sons grow into kind and passionate individuals.
Theresa cherished spending time with her family and friends. She often spent days at the seashore, enjoyed breakfasts and lunches, and went to movies and shopping trips with them. Theresa had a vibrant spirit and an inner light that shone in every aspect of her life. Her unique sense of humor and love for laughter made her the life of the party, lighting up any room she entered. She had a special talent for striking up conversations and forming friendships quickly. Theresa loved cooking, especially for family and friends during their frequent gatherings. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling to various destinations, with Orlando, Florida being her favorite. Above all, Theresa’s love always centered around her family, cherishing every moment with her husband, sons, and extended family members. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to Theresa’s visitation on FRIDAY, October 4th from 4 until 7 pm at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held on SATURDAY, October 5th at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Her interment will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
