Joyce Catherine Taylor

Joyce Catherine Taylor, 81, of Nashua, NH passed away on September 1, 2024 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH after a long illness. Joyce was born February 13th, 1943 to her parents Richard Taylor and Alice (Brown) LaTulippe. She is predeceased by her parents, her beloved sister Sandra Ann Pageot, and grandparents Charles E. Brown and Dorothy Waters and step grandfather Charles F. Dow of Hollis.

She is survived by her sons Michael Lingley of Long Island ME, Greg (Kristen Hoffman) Lingley of Hollis, Spencer (Jennifer Belanger) Stickney of Hollis, Shannon Stickney of Stuart Fl,; her grandchildren Emma Kate Lingley, Hunter and Samual Stickney, Patrick, Kyle, and Corey Chamberlain, Nicolas Gamache and her great grandchild Annabelle Grace Chamberlain. Nieces and nephews, Dina (Martin) Hodovanich of Powell OH, Timothy Alfin of Bethesda MD, Yvette Nelson, and Michelle (Malcom) Branen as well as her sister Patricia (Taylor) Alfin, Hampstead, MD, brother in law Ronald Pageot and many grand nieces and nephews.

Joyce grew up in Hollis, attending Hollis High School and led the Hollis Church-School Marching Band as a majorette. She enjoyed picking strawberries at Brookdale Fruit Farm, frequented Locke’s Ice Cream Parlor and helped her parents maintain and operate the family’s school bus company that served the Hollis School System. After Raising her children, she relocated to Vero Beach FL. where she was employed in the medical records department at the Martin Memorial Hospital. She then achieved certification in the mental health field as a Certified Peer Specialist (CRPS) in Stuart Florida and Douglas WY before returning to NH and residing at Gatewood Manor in Nashua.

Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her life on October 5th, 2024 at 10:30 am at the East Cemetery located on Wheeler Rd. in Hollis NH. Immediately following the graveside service, there will be a get together at Spencer and Jennifer’s house at 17 Proctor Hill Rd Hollis.
