Carolyn von Recklinghausen

Carolyn von Recklinghausen, 92, of Hudson, NH, died Saturday, Sept 14, 2024, at Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson, NH. She was born July 24, 1932, in Waterbury, CT, to parents George and Genevive (Bull) Seibert. She was married to the late Dainel R. von Recklinghausen. They were married on July 9, 1960, and enjoyed 51 years of marriage before his passing in 2011. She was also predeceased by her sister Phyllis, and her daughter-in-law, Caroline von Recklinghausen

Carolyn graduated from Becker College with a Secretarial Degree and went on to work in healthcare, finishing the last 17 years with the Community Council of Nashua, NH. She enjoyed her work and the connections she made over the years.

Carolyn enjoyed quilting and was part of the Hannah Dustin Quilting Guild based out of Hudson, NH. They collaborated on projects and often gave their time to local charities. She loved reading and was a member of the Hidden Treasures Book Club.

Carolyn is survived by her sons Friedrich von Recklinghausen and his wife Cynthia of West Chesterfield NH, and Christoph von Recklinghausen of Wilton NH, granddaughter Tatiania of Spenser MA, and grandson Daniel of Brattleboro VT.
