Marie-Luce (Audet) Dion

Marie-Luce (Audet) Dion, 94, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 7, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Dion who predeceased her in December of 2012.

Marie-Luce was born in Les Eboulement, Quebec, Canada on April 30, 1930, and was the daughter of the late Jospeh and Cecile (Girard) Audet.

In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and making numerous quilts and had a beautiful collection of 25 tea pots, and angels, which she happily displayed. Marie-Luce loved to make people laugh and was a little bit of a prankster. Spending time with her family was very important and cherished every family gathering.

Marie-Luce took pride in maintaining her home daily. Prior to her husband’s passing, they would travel to various destinations including Canada frequently to visit family and few trips to Florida, specifically one trip to Disney with her children and grandchildren organized and gifted to them for a wedding anniversary. Most importantly, she expressed and practiced her deep faith and prayer to the Blessed Mother.

She is survived by her five children, Marie-Paule Jamieson of Nashua, Fr. Gerard Dion of Nashua, Rita Champagne and her husband Michael of Nashua, Marc Dion and his wife Joanne of Derry, and Serge Dion and his wife Debbie of Hudson, her eight grandchildren, Aaron Champagne, Korianna Champagne, Eric Dion, Jennifer Dion, Jonathan Dion, Bradley Dion, Sharon Dion, and Joseph Dion. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; her four sisters, Yolande Roy of Coaticook, PQ, Canada, Pauline Houle of Nashua, Jacqueline Roy of Merrimack, and Marie-Rose Lepointe and her husband Olivier of Nashua; as well as several nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by many siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to Marie-Luce’s visitation on FRIDAY, September 20th from 5 until 8 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. There will be a visitation held on SATURDAY, September 21st from 10 AM until 10:50 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM in Immaculate Conception Church and will be celebrated by her son, Fr. Gerard Dion. Marie-Luce’s interment will take place at St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
