Joan was a full-time homemaker who worked tirelessly to keep an immaculate house, have dinner on the table every night and keep all five of her children in line. In her spare time Joan enjoyed taking ceramics and quilting classes.
After John’s retirement they moved to Nashua, NH where Joan immersed herself in her love of gardening. Maintaining a beautiful flower garden that included numerous species of flowers, walking paths and birdhouses.
In 2021 Joan relocated to Westborough, MA to be closer to Kathryn and Fran. She lived out her final years in a retirement community where she enjoyed many activities and could foster her lifetime love of music by attending shows, concerts and singalongs.
Per Joan’s wishes there will be no services. Joan will be laid to rest with her husband in a private burial at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery.
