Mark Mosnicka
Mark Mosnicka peacefully passed after a 25 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis with family by his side on September 1, 2024 at the age of 58.
He is survived by his father and mother George and Ginny Mosnicka of Hudson, his sister and brother-in-law Lisa (Mosnicka) Prestia and Larry Prestia of Hudson, his three children, Alec Mosnicka, Carly Mosnicka-Fournier, and Amelia Mosnicka, and his granddaughter Gisele Fournier. He was predeceased by his wife Robin B (Reilly) Mosnicka.
Mark was born on October 29, 1965 and moved to New Hampshire at the age of one. Growing up in Hudson he graduated from Alvirne High School in 1983 and then attended St Anselm College 1987 (BA) and Catholic University 1989 (BSEE). Through mutual friends, he met and soon married his beloved wife Robin on October 29, 1994. They built and resided in the landmark “Pink” house in Litchfield until her death in 2013. After her passing he moved to the Edgewood Centre in Portsmouth where he resided until his passing.
Professionally, Mark’s technical knowledge and affable manner led him into sales and he practiced his skill sales management traveling through Europe and the United States for Ultratech sharing his skills and personality, winning several “Salesman of the Year” awards until he became disabled. After retiring he was able to spend significant quality time with his wife and children.
Mark’s passions included a love of rock music and the New England Patriots. As a young man he attended many concerts and began a lifelong acquisition of albums and histories of multiple bands and artists. Anyone that knew Mark would tell you he never missed a kickoff of a televised Patriots game, watching with one or more of his children.
Following cremation, a time of visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7th from 12:00pm noon – 3:00pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry street in Hudson. Mark will be buried in a private ceremony on a later date.
